Japanese Screens

The logo is based on Japanese room dividers. The rest of the system is based on the shapes of the room dividers makes as well as a use of negative space.

The screen shape will be used throughout the system. These examples show the size variations that can be used and the different ways the repetition can be applied to hold the information

The graphic beds would come in a variety of colors to create variety within the system. The color scheme is limited and used sparingly  within each frame. If a graphic bed was needed it could be used to compliment or contrast the previous graphics.

Based on the Rainbow Bridge leading into Tokyo, this direction would combine the bridge elements with landscape shapes to embody both aspects of Japan, a city and country life style. The design would be simple and clean with a limited color palette.

This geometric type was based on a technology and neon signs frequently found in Tokyo. The design would consist of long heavy lines, geometric shapes, and lots of bright colors.
